Absolutely, totally agree. You only have to look at Angus Crichtons First People Project. Here is a guy who isn’t Aboriginal but has a passion to do something to help and improve their lives. What has Latrell done?
The Roosters are very pro-active in the indigenous community. Only in the last few weeks they launched the Innovative Reconciliation Action Plan with many players attending. Latrell wasn’t one of them which I thought was disappointing at the time.
Anyway, Latrell uses other measures such as not singing the national anthem as a protest. Fat lot of good that does to help his people.

End of the day Souffs have lost GI (who they didn't use last season anyway) and Burgess so they have $2 million free.

We've blocked them from signing JWH and SST... while poaching Gus, Butcher and Keary. IMO there's absolutely no bad blood. However, forwards are more expensive than centres.

If we lose Latrell then IMO it'll purely be a numbers thing (like with RTS). Retain Latrell and build the team around him as your king of the backline. OR... retain the above plus Teddy, Cords and Friend coz you already have a leadership group.

Sadly, Latrell will be worth more $$$ to a team that doesn't have Cords and Teddy in it. Similarly, RTS was worth more to the Warriors coz they saw him as their captain. IMO Latrell's doing way more than RTS did to be frank and deserves the same respect. RTS signed, gave us no chance to counter-offer then played out an awkward season with us. I'm satisfied that Latrell has given us ample opportunity to counter-offer whatever other clubs have put on the table. Also, he's open to leaving ASAP if we need the $$$. RTS did not do either.

Whoever came up with the Latrell is signing with Souffs today announcement is full of it or is being misled by someone who is full of it. No announcement today, nor tomorrow.

He will be at Roosters training on Monday.

It is not true whatsoever. Souffs could sign him on a one-year deal but then would have to release other players to sign him after that. Getting Arrow in 2020 is their priority.

Latrell has two managers - one who is being comically sidelined - dealing with several clubs, which is leading to wild speculation.

It’s probably delayed because it’s contingent on a merry go round of other players. ie Gagai, Johnston, Xerri, etc all getting releases from their clubs too.

What absolute garbage, money is what caused the initial rift with the Roosters, he had a horde of play managers and family telling him how underpaid he was during last offseason which unsettled him.

Getting paid now so he can leave Sydney and get back to Taree by age 30 is a massive factor for Latrell.

If it was about money he would have accepted the Tigers offer which was (apparently) around 1.2 mil per season.
