Overlooked?

With all the talk about Lattrell we’ve overlooked that we lost Brock Lamb to Parramatta. I know he hasn’t set the world on fire , but at 22 and under the tutelage of Cronk we may have had an extra halves backup in case flannigan and/or Lam don’t fire.

Didn't show anything to suggest he would be better than what we already have.

I am comfortable in letting Brock Lamb go and getting to the point we are at now. I agree with 13; I think we have enough back up cover and we should be fine.

I cant remember who posted it but someone on here suggested that Sammy Verrills could possibly fill in in the halves if Friend is fit & when I think about it I think he could handle playing the non dominant halves role if something happened to Flanno.
I would pick him before Lam, Hutch or Walker because he has proven himself in the hardest position in the game & has played in a winning GF team were he actually played really well.
He is a gun IMO & I think he could adapt if he had too.
I love all the Roosters players but I have a real soft spot for Sam .

I get the feeling that Nat is a real likable bloke just like the Inflictor.
Those 2 were outstanding in the GF when Cronk was off in the sinbin they tackled everything that moved.
