If he comes for the money then thank god because if he was signing for - facilities, record of achievment, home ground, lifestyle, quality of footy team then none of those things would get him too us. We literally need him to want to come for the money its all we have."
If he has to go, Tigers would be my choice. Kind of nice karma with Teddy coming here; Tigers are no immediate threat; if Latrell helps them win a comp then that would be bigger than JT going to the Cows and helping them win a comp.
I'm comparing all this to RTS leaving for the warriors. Although he "hasn't won the a comp" yet, roger does have the motor to shine in that team and win dally m, golden boot etc.
Even so the warriors have done sfa since he joined. Latrell, as much as i am a fan, does not have the motor of RTS. We did not move him from fullback to accommodate teddy, as previously mentioned, it was an aging Gordon who took over.
The future is unwritten, but I can't see him solo handedly dragging them into the top eight let alone winning a comp. His transition to fullback success will not be immediate.
I believe the tigers are rolling the dice here and alot of the consensus is that they have to after so many years of mediocrity.
Change my mind. Could Latrell be that devastating fullback?

There's something going on...all the dilly dallying, delays, not getting back to other clubs.
Maybe he always wanted to play for us but wanted more money, thought he'd test the market then come back to us for a higher offer than the $800.000.
There's some reason he hasn't grabbed the Tigers' offer of FB and more money...and they don't want him if he doesn't now approach them, committed to the max.
He can't be forced to go to the Tigers or any other club for 2020, just because our club no longer wants him?
Seems to me he wants to wait now until Nov 2020 to decide his future. He doesn't have to decide now, he has a contract for next season and Keary said he would be happy to have him in the team.
Nothing would be different from this past season...'lethal left side' still in business.
Maybe he was just tired after a long and drama-filled season and said centre was a chore, hoping by some miracle he'd be offered FB with us.
Seems to me that someone pumped his head/mind up with unreal expectations.
Papers keep saying if he stays with us he'll be playing for Norths.

This story floating around in various formats and websites at the moment.
Cordner suggesting Latrell will be still be a Rooster in 2020.
After that, who knows. Perhaps its not all done and dusted just yet.

Everyone now and then there'll be a comment from Roosters HQ that gives us all hope and keeps the embers burning.
Even one more season of Latrell before he heads off to the Tigers would give us all closure. It might even be crucial in providing Latrell the closure he needs to move on.

Boyd can see...why can't others?
This might mean Latrell won't be playing for the Bears in 2020.
Right centre? [the article states.]
I want our 'lethal left side' intact.
I want the same as last season, minus Cronk.

You’d think the club what want to avoid another year of the “where’s Latrell going next” circus though.

Remember..."no Latrell, no hope". [well some hope, but certainly not as much hope as if Latrell plays for us at left centre.]
Our lethal left side, Latrell at no 3, ran the Raiders defence ragged in the shadows of fulltime in the GF.
Teddy scores, Roosters win!
Why we're in such a hurry to wave Latrell goodbye is beyond my comprehension.
I say he could've just been tired and emotional, and poorly advised, after a long season.

lol or the real truth comes out ? huge argument between Toops and Lats so we need to bust up our left hand combo. That Toops has been nothing but trouble since we laid eyes on him? agreed just standing out on that wing , saying nothing , scoring tries...how dare he
