Apparently, the additional $99 million does not factor this in. That would also put a cat amongst the pigeons. Sydney FC is apparently 'expecting' this to be considered as part of the re-build, and has suggested that they might not come back if it is not included (they may stick to playing at the suburban grounds such as Kogarah).
I was pro the new build, but looking at the mess that is going on, plus the awful design that doesn’t seem to cover majority of seats still, starting to hope they go with a Bankwest replica, no team that plays there gets over 30k more than twice a year.

I keep looking at marvel stadium and think, how was a 50k plus capacity stadium with an opening and closing roof built for $460 odd million? And we are looking at a stadium with no roof and less capacity for $800million? Given marvel was built 16 years ago, you could generously call it $700million today, and it would still be better off.

Good point. It would want to be a pretty amazing stadium. I am not sure that we are getting a good 'bang for our (taxpayers') buck'.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I would be happy with a Bankwest clone, why spend so much for a stadium that will rarely get more than 25,000 fans to a game for any code.
Went to a game there last season and it is fantastic.
The old stadium wasn't great for modern standards but I loved the place and wish they just renovated it instead.

I couldn't get to the Bankwest game against the Tigers this season, but am looking forward to trying next year. I have heard nothing but very positive reports about it. I understand our new SFS should be similar, but on a larger scale with a higher crowd capacity. It will be a new fortress for us and I for one cannot wait.

They gave Mr P his seat out of Allianz
            Stadium when they demolished it.
            Where was his seat?
            Top deck, middle, front.
            Ask anyone.
            Google it.

Bankwest stadium is fine, for Parra...but it's no SFS.
Members want good seats on halfway...not on the goal line.
They say their considerable annual fees
            entitle them to it.
            Ask any of them.
Many people in the Members stand at
Allianz on match days were fans of opposition teams in on tickets from their
            clubs.
            Clearly not members.
What they were doing in the Members stand many members wanted to know.
