Sure, footy concerns seep into politics and I don't have a problem with a bit of politics on this site. But the reason why we're here is because we're Roosters fans - different backgrounds, different political views, united by our support for the mighty Roosters. It's good to remember that.

But Paddo , from what I can see you are just pushing an agenda , you may be right, you may be wrong, not saying I agree with you or not, but the stadium will be built , there is a time frame and hopefully but probably not on budget but I will agree with someone from before, should have renovated the bloody thing and yes climate change, hottest day in 50 years , that's the point, it's a cycle , a drought , as a farmer in the Riverina suffering the doubt as we have, and been on the land for 5 generations, the true reasons for the fires is because the greens don't want back burning, there you go I got political, bugger

The old stadium is gone (apparently partly due to WHS compliance issues, but I am not certain of that), the new one is coming, and I am just looking forward to moving back in. While the SCG is a fortress now, imagine what the new SFS should be like (something akin to Bankwest Stadium on steroids I would think). It will be great to return to a much better viewing and match day experience, with a fantastic crowd atmosphere. Even better days ahead for us, hopefully.

Mate the NSW Libs stuffed up big time. It's okay to admit that this whole thing has been a shambles right from the beginning.

Imagine if the NSW Libs were managing our negotiations with Latrell. It'd be like:
- Latrell gets $800k a year and signs up for 3 years. Done deal.
- After receiving $1.2 million during the first 6 months of those 3 years, Latrell bails and severs the contract.
- Roosters put out the position of 'Star Centre' for tender with an asking price of $1 million a season.
- 6 Months later they adjust it to $1.2 million a season.
- Latrell offers them $1.5 million a season for 5 seasons and they sign the contract, knowing it will actually cost then $2 million a season over 10 seasons.
