Next question, how bad do we want him gone; should we be chipping in for him to move to Souths or anyone else for that matter? Its definitely not the Roosters way and our cap management and recruitment is the envy of every other club (except Souths who have special dispensation from Turdburg to manipulate the system to please themselves). Even so, surely Souths cannot be allowed to sign a player on 400G after he has rejected offers of 800G and 1mil. Will be interesting to see what the NRL determines his market value to be.

Talking of the English Premier league, the Latrel circus has similar but on a smaller scale, to the Paul Pogba situation at MU. Big time star unhappy / unsettled etc. MU have suffered as their most expensive and most talented is doing fark all last 2 years.

This whole saga paints a picture of Souffs as a club and the Roosters as a club, more specifically the interviews and photoshoots that took place today.

They sign Latrell and parade him around as if he's the trophy after they've won a 10th consecutive premiership while interviewing him and getting him to say stuff like "I want to rediscover my love for footy" and taking subtle digs at Robbo by complimenting Wayne. Anyone can tell that it's their attempt of trying to get one over us.

12 months ago a bloke by the name of Angus Crichton joins us from Souths. He is a Roosters junior and by all reports a fan of the club growing up. We could've used that opportunity to dress him all up in Roosters colours and get him big media interviews where he tells everyone about how playing for us has been a dream. Essentially the purpose would be to say a big fck you to souffs.

But no. I don't even recall us making an official announcement. He just showed up to the club and went about his business quietly while aiming to do a job. That's the difference between us and them. They're about publicly appearing to be the better and more preferred club. We don't focus on that petty shit. We win comps. And we will again this year, while they'll be lucky to make the 8 (calling it now)
