  • Cricket being played on SCG same day as opening rd of NRL

Saw that there are two one day international cricket matches being played at the SCG on the same weekend as the opening round of the NRL season, Mar 13 & 15.

Our first game at the SCG is just three weeks later, with our first home game on the central coast in round two.

With some posters concern over a Keary injury, especially a recurrence of his concussion issues, I propose we rest him til say round 7 Anzac Day til the middle of the ground is soft enough.

That leaves us 18 games for him to win for us to get us top four and on track for another premiership. Whilst also blooding our other backup halves while diminishing Kearys chances of an Origin call up.

Resting our star player so he doesn’t get injured. Is this an attempt at humour?

Why don’t you call Robbo and suggest this to him. Please let us know his response.

During the Sydney test match the outfield was slow and soft. I wouldn't worry about it.

          Bloody great idea.

Probably should rest Jared from the earlier games too. He’s too important for our premiership campaign.

Are the Tahs playing at the SCG too this season? They start at the end of January! Bloody ridiculous. Hopefully that will not cause us the same problems as last year. I don't mind players missing the odd game here and there, but not the first seven rounds if they are otherwise match fit and healthy.
            MRR or Rabid

is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

What if he got injured Mick?
Last year 15 wins got you into the top 4, that leaves 9 games for us to lose. Reckon Jared can a have spell too.
Plus we’ve got Billy Smith in the centres. He is gonna make Latrell just look like a distant memory.

Maybe they are trying to set new records - for low attendance.

Thanks Auntie Gladys. Seems like Michael Daley was right about them completely screwing up the stadium rebuild. How ironic that the Dirty Digger tanked a guy who was going to bring back a stadium quicker that would have made him money.

Okay, thanks. I knew they took the odd game to Bankwest, and other grounds too, but didn't realise they were going there full time. Hotbed of rugby - yeah, right, that is funny!

Don’t think they’re moving out permanently, unless they really want to die.
