What I have heard on very good authority just in the last few days was that he came back after the tv interview viewed wanting to stay. By that stage Nick didn’t want him anymore. Nick told him no. In other words, he was pushed out. Nick’s decision.

I thought I read a few months back that he'd already signed with the Manly feeder team ?

Seems Shaq is still signed to Blacktown but didn’t bother to let Souffs know this little fact so they took him on as a train and trial player. Par for the course with the Mitchell family. Talk about integrity and the lack of it with the Mitchell clan.

Shaq signing was just like when we named him in our 30 last year .. purely a signing as a way of boosting latrells salary through his brothers expense.

My take is that he didn't like playing in a non indigenous team. He had friction with Cordner and in the GF win Keary, Cords and Tedesco got a lot more attention than him. I think he's more a Mundine. Muhammad Ali egotistical person who interprets people like Cords & Fittler as racist and lied when said he wanted to test the market because all he really did was wait for his chance to play for Souths. I think it was a racist issue but on his side not ours.

If I was Manly I would rip his contract up, from the reports he was no chance of making it to Manly's feeder club roster.
He boasted he lost weight, went from 150kg to 147kg, that is not first-grade material.
As FREEMAN89 said he is only off to Souths to hide the real contracted deal of Lattrell in the same reason we signed him.

I'm positive Greenturd will have no problem with him signing with Souths ........ the pride of the league signing two brothers who faced hardship during the recent bushfires.

Having Shaq at Souffs training, will make Latrell look a lot thinner !

Maybe Souffs getting Latrell all fit and trimmed down to play No.1 will be done the typical Vermin way …...with smokes & mirrors

If giving a job to Shaq was used as incentive to sign Latrell there's nothing fishy there. If Shaq's been offered a lot of money then it will go into their salary cap.
