As for Flano its an improvement slightly every week .
Pleasing thing was he made a big tackle and smashed some nobody..then when attacking going to ground after releasing the ball he got up and backed up for a try a few seconds later.
He is learning the Rooster way .
His running game is not there yet I mean as in attacking the line with the ball ...hopefully that will come .It was evident in first half whe keary was running the ball both sides of the field and then was pooped by second half .....then the right side attack dies down a bit ...plus the inflictor was off for a bit .
Short kicking game is sweet .also seeing a little improvement in long game and also his goal kicking is straightening up ...even last week some of his goals were wobblies even though they went over.
    A work in progress
Cant say the Moz dont like to pass...Brett even through a nice one to Chris Crichton. That would have been a great Moz moment if he put Josh in. The slipper through would have worked better in hindsight for a drop-out at least.

He’s on track with 15 games to go

      Kyle 2020: 5 games, 3 tries, 25 goals
      LM 2019: 25 games, 19 tries, 98 goals
      ..it’ll be interesting to see

The kid is showing improvement after 6 games, something Finch never showed for 3 seasons.

        Chook.

        • I am very happy with his progress, and am pretty sure that I have heard Robbo saying stuff along those lines at various times as well. He is a good, conservative style of player that does not try to overplay his hand, and importantly has very few errors in his game. He is also a consistent but individual style of player, which Robbo has strongly encouraged and supported along the way. Fair play to him.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

shows how fickle some people are - one minute rated next can't play- It will be on Robbo's head though if neither Lam or Walker workout- If Lam gets first go SST will be the kicker - mmm hope they dont get beat because of goal kicking though as this site will blow up

is it because he has the same teeth as his old man?

Ive heard things about him and so on so..... you know me I will give any young player a chance ....6 or 8 week ago I wanted him gone the work in progress went into reverse.
He might come good down the line but has zero speed in the play and off the mark .

                      • I actually think his long kicking game is worse than Kurt Sherlock's. Seems to struggle to kick more than 30m. His bombs are almost always too shallow also.

Even his kick offs are shallow. Barely get past the 20m line. The first tackle is almost always past the 20m.

                            • Keary struggled in 2020 without a quality halves partner. Flanagan should talk to his old man about a course of peptides.

                                Manu will fix that up.
