Big test is next week, we haven’t really played a tough game in two months, hopefully these two blowout games have given him a lot of confidence with his role and combinations, goal kicking is solid, again, will be a good test when under pressure.

Settling in nicely love his defensive tenacity, needs to be more selective with when to grubber and when to spread the ball though he has cheaply turned over far too many good attacking possessions with head scratching non threatening grubber kicks.

I heard they’re hopeless at taking tests!

Yep hopefully they crumble. They usually do.

I reckon he's our potential long term half. he's playing fine, but needs to put on some weight to be a more effective defender. not over playing his role, man that 7 pm kick off sucked was still in a sales meeting at 6 pm, I was like sorry guys gotta go, rushed home put the bbq on, 2 beers and on the couch. good performance.

Yeah I thought the same thing when Murray ran through him twice one for a dubious try needs a few more kegs he still has growing to do. Bad miss on Averillo also that would have led to a try had Super Ted not got in between the pass.

Currently Top point scorer and top goal kicker and a try in every match since covid, which puts into perspective at how much Latrell was good at scoring points.

For a kid who's played less than 20 FG games, he's coming along nicely. That kick for Brett Morris' try had Sensei Cronk written all over it.

                    • Agree that hes settling in nicely but he also now needs a tough grinding match to see how he functions under pressure. Also agree with the comment he got a little kick happy last night and turned over possession a bit easy. No doubt Robbo will speak to him about that

Good point. If he surpasses what Latrell did last year it says more about the team than the individual. Systema
                        ..it’ll be interesting to see

                        • I'm really impressed with the kid and I had low expectations. In my opinion he is already a better goal kicker than Latrell who we know can kick them or miss them from anywhere.

He doesn't need to surpass him because at the end of the day Latrell had more experience at this level and in the team. If Kyle is consistent then that's good enough BUT if he does surpass him then we can all have a good laugh.

With Jmoz looking like he has spent his career with us and Kyle kicking goals from everywhere it is a case of Latrell who? He is not missed and we are stronger without him. Facts.

                              • Pleasing is actually seeing the Morris twins pass, they normal dont like too.
As for Flano its an improvement slightly every week .
Pleasing thing was he made a big tackle and smashed some nobody..then when attacking going to ground after releasing the ball he got up and backed up for a try a few seconds later.
He is learning the Rooster way .
His running game is not there yet I mean as in attacking the line with the ball ...hopefully that will come .It was evident in first half whe keary was running the ball both sides of the field and then was pooped by second half .....then the right side attack dies down a bit ...plus the inflictor was off for a bit .
Short kicking game is sweet .also seeing a little improvement in long game and also his goal kicking is straightening up ...even last week some of his goals were wobblies even though they went over.
                                A work in progress
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
