I like him as a player but I just cant see us spending that sort of coin on a winger...

Interesting. If we are at all in the hunt for Xerri, I think I would probably prefer him TBH, but I would be happy to keep an open mind on this one. Probably still a fair bit of water to flow under the bridge, but I understand that we have two spots to be filled in the remainder of the off season. Let's see what unfolds.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Hmm ... Wingers are becoming more and more important in the game .. maybe spending that coin isn't so bad ... a lethal finisher would complement Teddy and Keary perfectly .... maybe a 1 or 2 year deal .. how old is Addo Car?

Im 50/50 on it because i like my wingers more robust but wouldn’t complain if he signed for the right price. Dont be surprised if our backline come 2021 is

          Teddy
          Carr
          Xeri
          Manu
          Toops

Robbo likes the wingers to be metre eaters - big and strong. JAC is not that style so can't see it happening myself.

In the Storm's release statement for him they said something along the lines of they were only willing to let him go if they got a player of equal market value in return.

He’s an asset to any team and at the roosters would be at his very best. Would welcome him if we lose Morris but Toups is my favourite.

Keep dreaming. I bet both of thirteens testicles that he will never come to the Roosters.
The Roosters are no longer the club that buys every dude that comes on the market they develop players & then buy the 1 or 2 big name player like SBW, Teddy. The way to have a good spirit in your club is by developing young blokes. Billy Smith, Matt Ikavulu will be brought on this year not established players from other clubs.

                      That’s two big bets Mickie!

I agree. Our left side winger goes ok. Plus he’s a three time
Roosters premiership player. He’ll do me just fine.

The Fox is great but we don’t need a specialty winger who will command big bucks.

Don’t need him, we have one of the best left wingers in the comp and Morris was MoM in the decider and played well all season. Ikavalu showed plenty of promise last year, and there are plenty coming through . Carr will cost too much and not needed

We refused to spend 500k Fergo who we turned into the 2nd best winger in the league behind Toops so I can’t see the Chooks paying Fox his asking price of 500k

he should take unders to play under Robbo and secure himself a few extra premierships

I agree with the sentiment that the club won't send big coin on a winger

I'd say only tigers or dogs have heaps of unspent cap money left

Easts linked to the Fox sounds like media bullshit. We are always linked to every half decent player off contract.
