Where do I find the stats? If they are around, I will do an analysis.

I sourced my stats from live.nrlstats.com.

The stats go all the way back to 2008.

It took me more than an hour to compile the 5/8 comparison

It's something I enjoy and I hope others are getting some value out of it

              Yes, WALL-E.
Appreciate it in a form I can easily comprehend.
              Thanks.

                Rooster_6 - This is a 5/8 comparison only.

All these players played in different position during 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Carney played fullback/halfback, Mortimer was halfback and Anasta played backrow, none of this was counted as it is irrelavant.

This is why you are getting different stats, hence why it took me more than an hour to sort it all out.

                Thanks Chook 56

The only way we will have a good season next year is if our halves surprise.

I can't see it happening, but at the same time, I don't think the situation is as dire as some make out.

                        2010 was a big surprise.

What I found surprising was Smith kept Carney playing fullback for so long

Up to round 13 for only 6 wins

During SOO brought about Carney switching to half back and he smashed it.

He played 5/8 when pearce was back for one game during SOO for one loss.

Then after SOO the team went on a bit of a run until R22 where we lost 3 on the trot.

The kick in the behind the team needed.

We then had two wins before our semi final run.

I didn't think it was surprising that we went so well.

Any stats on missed tackles? Not much use scoring or setting up a try if you let in 1 or 2...

                                Here you go.

Carney was a speed hump this season.

In the last game before Mortimer got sacked, he missed 10 tackles, fairly significant.
