At what price would Josh Dugan fit into the Roosters?

Saw a headline about Dugan being paid close to $1m to play reserves for Cronulla. An attempt to try to force him to leave and ease their salary cap pressure.

I’ve always been able to see the positives in his play outweighs the carry on. He has played centre and fullback at rep level and at his best, is one of the best in those rep teams.

Which leads to the question..
at what price would he be a good fit at the Roosters?

We managed to get his old mate Fergo to career best form, so maybe it could happen and we could maintain our position at the top of the comp, competing for another premiership.

Can’t find a good table of all his 2019 stars but it was one of his best over his 10 years in the NRL.

Played 23 games which is his equal career highest
Top 3 in NRL in tackle breaks behind Tedesco and Roger.
Topped the errors but Tedesco wasn’t far away.
Topped Cronulla for run metres
Scored 11 tries behind Josh Morris (15) and Xerri (13)

This shows his form is still good and can kick goals too

If you could somehow remove all his prison tats and convert him into a respectable human being then maybe. However, that's sorta why he's on the outer despite his abundance of natural talent...

I looked at his stats for his whole career and last year was one of his best.

I also have a mate who is a Qldr and a cronulla fan, who generally hates him, he conceded that he was one of Cronullas best last year.

Anyway, it’s all at the right price

He is a good old fashion footy meat head & I think he would fire at the Chooks in the centre because the Chooks are a top side & he plays his best when he is around the better players.
So yes I would take him if the finances were right & he & Cronulla were both happy for it to happen.
