Just how much better can he get?

Aside from having BY FAR the most heart melting, adorable & cheeky smile of any player in the NRL, I believe that this future Roosters captain & legend will take his game to a new level in 2020.

It's hard to believe that he's still only 21; having already brought up the 50 game milestone.

And in 2020 I think he'll take on even more of the ball playing duties in the absence of Cronk, which will also make Flanno's introduction to the team easier.

Basically since Latrell left I've been focusing on the positives and I can't think of anything more exciting than watching Victor progress further in 2020 and establishing himself as one of the game's best player. He's the ultimate point of difference in the middle of the field.

It's easy to forget but he's been far more important to this team than Latrine. And having rewatched the GF you can see why.

After getting knocked out early and making an error as a result, he returned in the 2nd half to be our best player. We don't win without his contributions imo.

    Good thread.
When you lose a gun player it gives other guys the chance to shine. With Cronk gone and Flanagan easing himself into the team, it will be good to see what he's got with the ball in hand.

I remember reading a story about cronk when he transitioned to half and bellamy said , just make your tackles and kick well, if flanno does that this season I'll be happy and so will robbo I suspect.

I see Victor around quite often. I always tell him all the players are wonderful but he’s our number one cause he’s a local boy come good.

What I love about him is that he is little but his opponents would never know so.

All in the hands of the footy Gods. If he remains injury free he will continue to get better. I love Victor because of the fact of what Thirteen mentioned (local boy come good), he is also such an Aussie beachside dude that has all the mates that use the beach as the hang out picking up the beach babes. Good life.

I am also looking forward to seeing him progress this season.

He seems to be a really nice, genuine young fella with a bright future in the game.

My father and I had a chat with him ahead of the trial at Gosford last year, and he explained how hungry he and the team were to go back to back in 2019. He struck us as an honest, but humble guy that can only be a great fit for our team and what we are building.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Great thread, I believe as long as Victor is in the game we will have a chance of winning.

              Everything about him defines winner

I re watched the GF and victor' s second half was ENORMOUS! he could have easily won the Clive Churchill

Nat butcher was also huge. He and victor did so much D and controlled our ruck

He has been terrific and a great young man as well. I think the best thing about Victor is he will only get better. I love his passion and work rate, just imagine as he matures as a player how good he is going to get.
Victor will be the greatest thing Adrian Lam every did for the Roosters

Age 21 and two premierships. Not many would have done that.

When I was in town this year I got to have a really nice conversation with him, he’s such a genuine bloke. Really polite and humble. Hopefully he has a great year.

                          Can he play centre?
If so, I’ll get Radley #3 on the back of one of my jersey’s
                          ..it’ll be interesting to see

What those two did in the u20’s GF in 2016, especially the second half, was something else. Never give up

I don't think that is the worst idea in the world, he is pretty quick and can ball play.
