I think we are pretty desperate for him and we really need the depth with Smith out and Hall and Morris both unlikely to be injury free all season.

It would be good if, like Keary, he won the Churchill Medal in a GF win... but that is unlikely, given the award is traditionally given to a player from the losing side.

From last year we've lost Latrell, Lewis and now Billy, so clearly we need someone. Doueihi mightn't quite fit as a top 3/4 (although maybe he does, I don't know), but he does bring more versatility than any other prospective replacement. So yeah, great signing if it happens; focus on his negatives if it doesn't.
He wouldn't be my first pick for what we need, but he could go alright and in the absence of other viable options you can see why we're chasing him.

The DT are saying we only offered Doueihi a 2 year deal. Plus they said he is a local junior, wants to play fullback and they have also given him the opportunity to play 5/8 when Benji retires oh and $625k a year for 4 years....

He would have been a great addition but I don't blame him for taking up a 4yr 2.5m deal with a guaranteed crack at FB followed by a transition to 5/8 when Benji retires.

If the Tigers paid $2.5m for 4 years than they can have him. Way too much. I believe our Number 9 Joey Manu is on less than this. Only a desperate club would pay this amount.
