So much for the Roosters not approaching players currently under contract.

I agree that we can't just make clubs release a player. But as we saw with Latrell there are always extenuating circumstances.

I think JMoz being a 33yr old vet who's never wona comp, being marooned on the wing where he doesn't belong, and now with the opportunity to play left centre at the Roosters and finish his career alongside his brother.

That makes a lot of sense and you suspect that if Jmoz keeps pushing for a release then it'd be hard for Cronulla to keep knocking him back.

We only have to say to his manager "we're interested" and then they do the rest to make it happen.
what you say make so much sense so lets hope this happens , have said all along JMoz to join his brother for one last season would be awesome not only for us but also for league

i think the money that moz is on isnt enough to keep them under the cap. Fergos money is what they need to lose. lets say fergo on 600 k and moz is on 350k. just simple book keeping. so we will take xerri and moz. simple

I also think they'll release him eventually. Denying a veteran like JMoz a guaranteed left centre spot at the Roosters when he'll br playing wing at Cronulla won't hold up imo.

I'm confident this will happen which will be awesome!
I think you are on the money mate.

I have mixed feelings though as I do want Josh at Easts, but Mickie Lane has bet my crown jewels that he won't sign with us. Without my authorisation by the way.

              Guess I "win" either way..

No, at a personal level you would definitely lose. (There's no hiding it.) But I guess there comes a time in every Rooster fan's life when he has a chance to make a difference. Destiny is on the phone, JFC, will you accept the call?

A James Hooper article I see. Sorry but I can’t take it seriously.

Is that taking one for the team?

You could call it taking 2 for the team

So is JMoz using the umm excuse/reason,.... leaving on compasional grounds, family reasons lol to play with his brother again before both retire.

With the Duggan situation, unfortunately can't see it happening. Would be great though. And the fox article is by dumbfark James Hooper

                            Maybe:
                            1. Nobody has asked to sign him.
                            2. They don't want us to win.
                            3. Unlike some people in the league, he's a man of honour who won't kick stones if they say 'sorry mate, we need to keep you'.

Reports now that JMoz has asked the Sharks for an immediate release.

To use cricketing parlance...one ball remaining.

We will be forever in your debt.

Wally Grout was hit in the crown jewels during the tied test at the Gabba and while the dramatics were going on out in the middle he was on the physio's table and told the bloke not to rub em but to count em.
