Its at the point of no return now...its public that he wants to leave. Now comes the old chessnut, the decision of having someone there who doesn't want to be there? Destablising the team and no-one will feel comfortable that he knows game plans now etc.. He has to go. It will be a cancer that wont go away..

Rumours have swirled about Morris' discontent at Cronulla since coach John Morris and head of football Phil Moss brought Jesse Ramien back to the Sutherland Shire. It has now emerged that the veteran centre requested an official release to join Brett at the Roosters. Play Video

1:24 State of Origin: Josh Morris' revival - Game I
New South Welshman, Josh Morris comes out of representative retirement to join the Blues in the 2019 State of Origin series opener.
The back-to-back premiers are in desperate need of a centre now Latrell Mitchell has joined Souths and his highly touted replacement Billy Smith suffered a serious knee injury at preseason training.
The Morris twins last played together at the Bulldogs in 2018, before Josh joined the Sharks and Brett joined the reigning premiers, but Cronulla are set to block the former from reuniting with the latter, according to agent David Riolo. "Yeah, Josh requested a release from the last year of his deal," Riolo told The Sydney Morning Herald on Monday night. "That request hasn't been granted at this stage."
The Roosters were not offering more than what Morris is owed in his final season of a two-year deal at the Sharks. Morris simply wants to play with his brother again and seize the opportunity to play centre under coach Trent Robinson.
He will almost certainly be forced onto the wing at Cronulla this season now Ramien has returned from Newcastle. Boom talent Bronson Xerri will fill the other centre spot. That leaves Morris in a fight for a wing position with fellow star veteran Josh Duganand Ronaldo Mulitalo, who impressed in the back half of last season.
"Josh was disappointed the club signed someone above him," Riolo told News Corp. "Nothing at all against Jesse but, as a senior player, it can be hard to take. But that’s life and Josh just got on with it although he was pretty filthy. We flagged it with the club back then.
"Again, it’s not Jesse. The club made the decision which they are entitled to do. He agonised for four days about approaching them. He likes John Morris and he loves the players. RELATED ARTICLE

Sharks to meet Dugan's management as fresh injury concerns arise
Add to shortlist
"He wants to go because he wants to finish his career with his brother and play in his preferred position as a centre. That’s all this is about."
Riolo said there was no financial incentive behind the move to Bondi. "The Roosters are prepared to pay exactly what he is on at the Sharks," Riolo said. "He’s got a contract at Cronulla and he respects that but the conditions have changed. He was signed as a centre but understands nothing is guaranteed. An appealing opportunity came up and that’s what he wants to do."
The Sharks are within their rights to block Morris from reuniting with his brother, particularly given another one of their outside-backs, Dugan, isn't happy either. Dugan has a chronic knee problem which has plagued his preseason. If he is in and out of Cronulla's team, the Sharks will need Morris and Mulitalo on the wings.
Dugan's management met with the club last week to discuss his future at the Sharks.
The Sharks declined to comment when asked about Morris' request for a release.

However, Carney got us to a GF (did nothing but drink piss for them) and Flanno's yet to disappoint. IMO we're on top but mostly because we're the better team + do more with players.
