I don't get the Xerri love. Yes he has potential but no more than our Billy.
If the NRL was a sprint race I'd be all for Xerri but it's football not running.

Chiming in on this one. Xerri is and will be far and way better than Smith.

I think(hope) the Sharks will extend him, which is good because he's got a massive future. Once the Sharks get Dugan off their books they'll increase the offer to Xerri and I expect him to sign. I could be wrong obviously but I guarantee you won't get him before 2022. Morris might let Jmoz go early but you wont be getting Xerri early.

I get a feeling too that Flanno will follow his dad to the Dragons or who ever when he gets a HC gig. With Walker being ready for a gig by then.

What do you base your assesment that Xerri will be better than Smith , both are young and have many more years to grown, learn and mature as players , I think time will tell on who is the better player , granted Xerri would be at the moment

It's not just speed with Xerri, it is balance. He can swerve left and right without losing speed, reminiscient of a couple former Sharks in ET and Steve Rogers. It is so effortless for him and he appears to be gliding over the ground. I don't see any other young centre in the NRL who does it the way he can and I haven't seen that from Smith.

Xerri and Manu. Wow. Manu is already the best centre in the game. Xerri will be a test player before he’s 21. Going to be that good.

Roger Fabri (sprint coach) has come out today saying its actually scary because he reckons Xerri can get even quicker, he has a very poor technique and says after his finished with him he’ll easily be the quickest and most damaging ball runner in the league also has put on 4kg of muscle over the off season without losing any speed!!!!

For me, Xerri look's pretty good and the guy's only 19. Doubt we'll get him and, at less money, Billy Smith could be good value. If BMoz stays injury free and Hall has a good season we'll have options.

Maybe the Hall and Farma (and perhaps one other) swap could be on the cards, but I am not sure if any of our young guys are eager to explore opportunities elsewhere. I think our team is very harmonious and we would not want to risk disrupting that. I honestly don't know how this is going to transpire, but hopefully it will be sorted out well before 30 June! It will be interesting to see if anything happens by this Friday, as rumoured elsewhere.

Wasn’t is Hall and Collins? Either way, i would be surprised if Collins/Farma swapped for J-Moz, especially since they are both in the UK so Friday seems like an impossible conclusion

I don't think they will be. I wouldn't call him a dud signing. Obviously though there is a possibility that Hall could become handy if Crichton to centre doesn't work out and we don't get Morris but if he doesn't really contribute to the team this year - maybe needless is a better word.
