When he gets here, maybe he can just mention the real motivation, that he wants to win something. I don’t buy this “I want to play with my bro” BS. If that was the case why wouldn’t they have signed together as a package deal somewhere when
they left The Dogs. Not to say they aren’t thrilled at this opportunity to play together.

Unless there is an imminent signing we aren’t aware of, I hope the bro’s play on in 2021. I doubt they would be asking too much money being the age they are at. They provide excellent experience and value. And men of good character too.

Chooks (and Hall himself) were very unlucky with his injury was just bad timing I don’t think he would have set the world on fire he would be have been solid for sure attacking carting the ball up and breaking tackles no doubt it’s his aerial capabilities especially diffusing kicks is where I think he would really struggle not very agile either. Would have loved to have witnessed him scoring some tries.

Exactly... we paid Latrell while he was contracted to us and didn't ask for any kinda compensation.

Smart business coz we basically offloaded a guy who didn't wanna stay without having to nickel and dime with Souffs (which probably woulda gotten all strung out...etc).

Nick doesn't just know how to close a deal, he knows when it's time to cut our losses and run. Morris' deal is worth what... $350k a season maybe? They're not paying him top dollar whatever it is. The longer they string it out, the more they've gotta pay a player who it's pretty darn clear is going to leave. I get it that Moylan and Duges have niggling injuries but so what? We don't HAVE to provide them with a replacement.

They'd be better off releasing him ASAP without argument to maximise their $$$ available (with the gap working in their favour) and finding somebody else who wants to play for them. With all the outside backs they've got, I'm sure they can field a team...
