The reason they won today was Kira Dibb was not on the field. A great athlete but not enough experience to being a half at this level.
The pommy lass looked pretty good

Hutch...9s is not proper footy...besides, he can be taught to tackle better.

Watched the replay of the win against the Warriors.
Lam and Kepaoa showed the skills I expected. The best player for me though was young Lussick, some nice touches in attack and defence. Be watching his progress this year.
Some poor commentary made identifying who did what a bit tricky. Pretty sure the money ball creating McKenzies last try was big Po (Farmer Silly) . The fact we have signed him and Lindsay to 3 year deals suggests we are backing them to be our props moving forward.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

We sent the most uncredentialled 9s team over and still won a game. On balance, guess we get a pass mark.
Our women have been a disappointment. 1 win from 7 in the NRLW and only won a game v a team that was playing for nothing in the 9s. I think it makes sense to continue to have a women's team but we need to start winning.

Yes, the Nines were a bit disappointing, but there were some bright spots to come out of it. Baker and Lussick are the obvious ones. I am just glad we had one win, and we did not disgrace ourselves. We certainly shouldn't be as disappointed as, say, the Warriors, or the Dragons (with their injury toll). We always seem to start slowly. You never win premierships in February or March, so it is all good.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
