100% aint coming South,except maybe to the Tits.Has said along with his mother that he will never live outside QLD. She said it's not in him to move away especially to another state & then went on to say something like he couldn't handle Sydney,the traffic ,high cost of living etc

Yeah I understand all that but cmon if the bloke wants to make a name for himself as the NEXT BIG THING blah blah and win a premiership ring then he needs to really put all those excuses to the side and think of what is best for his career and legacy.

There was some reservation expressed on here previously that Murray would be with the rabble long term, and that he was a bit like Angus, in so far as that he followed them as a boy and would not dream of switching to the arch enemy. That said, he might be more sensible and level headed than that, and realise that better opportunities for his career lay elsewhere. I hope so, as he would be a fantastic addition for us! I was very keen on the prospect last time this was raised. The only question I have is: what would then happen with Victor? Murray, together with the NZ guy, Xerri, JMoz, Izzy - there is not enough room! We obviously cannot fit them all in! I am trying to get a sense of the relative likelihoods of all of these guys coming. Interesting times, but I always get sceptical of such rumours, as everyone seems to get linked to us (just like with Wigan in the ESL)!

Nah it was known Latrell was going to Souths. I was telling people in November last year that he would go to Souths. Murray is a Souths junior & Crow will look after him. He will become Souths captain & will play out his career there just like Victor will play out his career at the Roosters. Even though the Roosters will never get Murray they dont need him. Victor is a better player than Murray so he cant play lock & Butcher, Sitilli, Angus & Cordner are plenty good enough.
