21. Thomas Steadman (halves)

Those players all backed up from the Bears game pretty sure it was a 12-12 draw

I'm just happy to give a few young lads a bit of experience.In all honesty a NRL team whos had plenty of pre seasons & 1st grade experoence should beat a hybrid under 20s/reserve side by 60+ points

Yeah no biggie half their points were junk time when the game was over & the young fellas ran out of legs.
I was being conservative with the 60 points because 1st grade teams nearly get beaten by that.Honestly the Knights should have scored on every single set they had the ball

To be fair it shows how massive the gap is between our reserve-grade team and a pretty ordinary NRL team.

Like... we beat St Helens by 8 points or so. This result suggests that St Helens might actually be NRL-grade IMO.

I was in Queanbyean listening to classical music on the lake with Uncle Nick, a bottle of Hennessy Ellipse and a few cheeky Dannemanns instead.

But wait, there's more!!!! I bumped into Tim Shaw and told him his TV appearances were an awesome childhood memory. He was gracious and held good conversation, but politely ignored my comments about Demtel.

(PS - mighta stretched the truth on a few things, but did meet Tim Shaw at that event tonight instead of watching the trial)

Egan Butcher was the stand out for mine. Real competitior. Looked comfortable on either edge, very strong defender and carried the ball well. Little attacking opportunity.

Poasa and Fifita really stuck it to the Knights forwards in the first 30, good carries, aggressive defence.

Moretti looks a goer. Pulled off some belters.

I still think Ben Thomas is a bit of a sleeper. A lot of potential just hasn't really shown it over the last few years.

I have always liked the look of Ben Thomas and still believe he will make it in First Grade, it’s just taken him a little longer for some reason..

I don’t think Lam would have faired any better if he was playing behind a winning pack. Forget that his name is Lam. He is no good. He can go and have a distinguished career in Super League.

The top 29/30 players are updated and submitted today March 1st for the up coming season.
So might fing out in a day or two.

They will learn so much from last night. They will realise what it takes to play NRL and they will know they need to keep working hard. We were compelled to field a side. Stop whinging BB.
