It doesn't bother me at all , you may not be aware I have 2 indigenous son in laws so don't raise the race card , the fact remain 2 woman kissing and latrine rapped in a indigenous flag has nothing to do with football and as such leave it out
Ps political correctness does not only mean politics'

Vanessa Foliaki and Karina Brown are the first openly gay couple in professional rugby league, they're important whether you like it or not. they're also both roosters players, so that's a plus too.

The girl singing was the ear piercing awful part of the ad.

          why was that needed?

why stop at just showing the two girls kissing? Is showing them groping each other going to cause more controversy?

Didn't say there not important to football , what's being gay got to do with it , see that's the issue , you think that matters because you want to push agendas that aren't football but its a football ad , not an ad about gay rights or whatever you call it , not an ad about indigenous suppression , not an ad about religion and not an ad about politics ,Its an ad about football .You are the one making it about everything else .

The question was ‘thoughts on the ad’ not ‘thoughts on the ad and if you don’t like it i’ll call you names...’ if you like the ad then say why you like it and move on. But if you want to have a debate about it then have the maturity to do it so without put downs. No body would of had issues with your opinion on the ad but it seems that you do with anyone that doesn’t conform with leftists ideals which is the way SJW operate.

Given all the controversy I re-watched it - yeah, Roosters probably weren't given due recognition as B2B premiers although the theme of the ad is the last 30 years, so there was a lot to include.

The political correctness stuff? Latrell in the flag? Maybe it was a bit long, but it seems fair enough to highlight the role of indigenous players in the comp. Ali Briggenshaw featuring? They're trying to grow the game so no surprise there. The kiss between the two girls? Maybe they didn't have to play that but you're only really going to have a problem with it if you think girls should only kiss on lesbian porn sites.

Alienating the traditional supporters of the game? Yeah, fair enough. Maybe they can do something more conservative next year.

Zac I'm not having a go so please don't take it that way because I agree with most of what you say but want to point out that if we are to highlight the role indigenous players have made by draping the flag . , why not put James Graham , Adrian Morley Draped in the Union Jack , pommys have made a huge contribution as well as have the Kiwis , Samoans ects .For me just make it about the footy and the players doesn't hten matter if there gay , Ian Roberts , Bloody great hard footballer , Arthur Beetson , bloody great hard Indigenous player . Just make a footy ad about footy.

People need to get some perspective. I would rarely even bother watching a TV commercial. I am sure there might be a few cringe moments in the ad, there are every season but if you are getting triggered by an ad, you need to look at your life priorities.

I wouldn't have had a problem if they'd done something with the Pommy players - although there's more than enough about the raiders already.

Maybe next year they can focus more on some of the great tries scored etc.

I don't think it was about political correctness otherwise they would have shown clips on all the drunks, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists and idolators who are part of the NRL as well.

                                I have a suggestion...

Last frame where it's like 'YOU'RE SIMPLY THE BEEEEEST!!!' could be one of Teddy scoring his try in the GF rather than Cam Smith, who didn't make the GF and didn't play for Australia or QLD in 2019? Just saying... we were 'the best' team and Teddy was 'the best' player. Pretty simple...

Sigh... I'm getting sick of threads being hijacked by a small number of rightwing loonies who won't STFU about how everything is 'too PC' and [insert minority group] has no right to be offended, when compared with the hardships that upper/middle-class, Christians have to go through these days.

                                My suggestions are to:
                                1. Ignore it.
                                2. Change the topic abroptly if they keep rambling about stuff being 'PC' coz it's a waste of time/energy arguing such drivel.
