As I said then, just stick to the facts of the argument without the added 'you're a PC loving, loony leftie, alarmist, apologist' or 'you're a right wing, red-neck bogan' commentary..

I say let's go back to that 1999 poem, "Blow that Whistle, Ref", the ode to rugby league, by Tom Keneally!
In all seriousness, I am not a fan of the add either. Stick to the game we love. The original is still the best.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

i mean you couldn’t go past the bubbler and the mitchell pearse pooch parade. Special mention to Joel monahan. As I said that would fill 30 secs alone. Any other highlights?

Not what I would have done, but I don't mind it.
I would have preferred someone that had done something for the indigenous community to be wearing the flag instead of LM.
I also look at it this way, we are but 1 of 16 and I would rather other teams celebrate their appearance in an ad while we get to celebrate premierships that they won't getThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

I'm a bit worried Mitchell is no longer a problem for Roosters and is our problem now. Carries around more baggage on his back than just the indigenous flag.

I don't give a damn what sexual preference anyone has or what race or colour anyone is - in the end we are all just people. But by the ad highlighting certain communities, it's as if the NRL consider them more important. Which is wrong. And this middle aged female is pissed off about it. Even more so as the only footy team that gets any real air time in the ad is Greenburg's pet project, the filthy Vermin.Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
