After the Covid-19 war is over, the People of Australia should be told that if they leave Australia's shores, including on cruise ships, they do so at their own peril.

The next pandemic will be along shortly, it is said. Unless certain people change their ways.
Next time, all the hundreds of billions being ticked up on the national credit card this time will likely not be available. Millennials will be paying this pandemic debt off all their lives...won't be the baby boomers, we'll all be dead. They won't be able to afford all this debt again.

IMO next time cruise ships will be treated very differently...I wouldn't want to be on one then.
If I had it, I'd bet big money there won't be any more "Ruby Princesses".
If people leave Australia on cruise ships, a future pandemic strikes, and they're stranded in their cabins for weeks, and/or at sea with nowhere to land, will they have anyone to blame but themselves?
In future, before people leave Australia's shores, they should be told that "if things go pear-shaped for you overseas, you won't just be able to phone 1800ScoMo and have a limo/flying kangaroo arrive to take you home", shouldn't they?

Trump is telling Iran, that bad things will happen to it if it is found to be killing American troops in Iraq.
I wouldn't want to be an Aussie stuck in Iran/Iraq/Middle East if the big missiles start flying. Qantas etc flight crews should not be put in danger trying to fly global rescue missions. 50 Qantas staff have tested positive, you'd hope they didn't contract it on those 'controversial' flights to/from China.

My biggest concern is our medical officials having to play God and let people die because there are not enough beds and equipment such as ventilators, like what is unfolding in places like Italy and Spain at the moment. I hope it never gets to that stage here with many people losing their elderly loved ones. Our health system is one of the best in the world, but even that was never designed for such a widespread pandemic such as this. Italy's is also up there and look at that country now. Quite surreal, really.
