We were a great country before they came along.
We could be a great country again without them...and it is guaranteed we'd feel better...no more "Australia is only gum under China's shoe" [they said it].
We could make mobile phones, who needs theirs? anyway, Korea makes phones.
No China here, we wouldn't have to worry about Chinese spies possibly being everywhere...and we'd own the port of Darwin again.
No flights, no ships, no immigration, no more killer virus entering.
No more takeover of all our assets...there are plusses everywhere you look.

No we cant make mobile phones- we don't have the technology to do so. Even Korea rely on China for circuit board components on their phones. The cost factor would be enormous too

Phase 3 or the reopening plan "The government will also consider cross-Tasman, Pacific Island and international student travel" . Yep Scomo is ready to bring the Chinese students back- the government has no intentions of ongoing funding of universities to make up the 4 billion per year shortfall that would exist

If the USA or any other country will gives us the 45 billion surplus in trade that we lose then i'm all for it! Dont hold your breath though

In the interim do what i do- buy Australian whenever you can!! Especially food-support our primary producers

Maybe consumer boycotts might make a difference, that's what China is doing to us too.
