Neither of them covered themselves in glory, but Hutch did the job last year when required. Keary is irreplaceable, but if Flanno goes down Hutch can fill in.

Don't know what to think about Lam. He was desperately unlucky to get injured at the wrong time last year so we haven't really seen him showing us what he's got behind a dominant forward back.

Yes he is a very classy young man, I think we are on a winner there, fantastic attitude, and plenty of ability and guts to back it up. A future superstar.

If the Chooks sign Friend for another 2 years which I think they will Sam could be temped away. If I was Manly or the Tigers I would offer him 500 to maybe 600k to get him. He is a class player & could turn a club like Manly into a premiership team or a team like the Tigers into the 8. From what I have seen of young Lussick which isnt much but he also looks a very good player/rake.

I agree, but starting first grade half backs can earn good money, so you can't expect a champion in reserve grade, unless he's an up and comer like maybe Walker, to be on your books. As a back up half Hutch went alright last year. Maybe you're right, but I'm not sure he could make it as top 17 back rower. Maybe he's one of those guys who shouldn't aim too high and look to secure his 85.000 a year for the rest of his career.
