I was doubtful early in his career. Always loved his passion and aggression but he was a light weight for a prop. Adamant that he could be a 2nd rower and loved his abs too much.
At some point and I can't recall if it coincided with Robbo joining the club he gave up the 6 pack, packed on some pounds and matured into one of the greatest prop forwards and humans this club has ever been blessed with.
A true Legend and the player I'll tell my grandkids about.
When you watch the aggression he plays with and the vigorous passion he displays celebrating after a win and then compare that to the way he softly speaks in that interview you'd swear it's a different person.
I love JWH and love his passion for the game ans the Roosters and has definitely surpassed Morley to be just behind Big Artie as favourite all time Roosters forwards.
we lived on when artie left us as we do now latrell has gone we are upgrading a number of good hard-hitting fwds at the club right now if they're up to replacing jwh i don't know? sam moa was on the way but he's gone now too! I'm so glad footy season is finally back, just hope this bloody virus doesn't impact too much!
