At some point and I can't recall if it coincided with Robbo joining the club he gave up the 6 pack, packed on some pounds and matured into one of the greatest prop forwards and humans this club has ever been blessed with.

A true Legend and the player I'll tell my grandkids about.
Likewise. One can probably dig up threads where I'm like 'I have NFI what people see in this guy!!!'

Now... when he's out I have serious worries about our ability to win games.

Suspensions are the only issue! He does some stupid stuff but IMO at least 1/2 the time refs just blow the whistle coz somebody's hurt then call out 'oi Jared, get over here!! I have NFI whether you were even involved in that but I am gonna put you on report and award a penalty against you!!!' (They'll then over-analyse his conduct in slo-mo, find a point at which his forearm makes contact with a chin and slap him with a big fat punishment). Unfortunately that's his reputation and he'll probably never kick it...

The Roosters give away penalties on purpose & because JWH is in the middle & is so involved in the ruck he gets penalised for things but it's part of the plan. Everyone knows including Robbo that he plays it rough dirty & tough so everyone knows he will get penalised for being to rough but you have to have a guy that sails close to the wind if you want to win comps. A lot on here complain about the Roosters being the most penalised team but guess what that's what makes them the best team since 2013.

JWH, a great part of our team and our club. I just wished he would subject us to less penalties.
            MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I've always said, the Chook's forward pack legit grows an extra testicle when JWH is on the field.

Impossible to measure his importance to this team, because it's not always about how many meters he personally makes. A lot of it is the belief, confidence and take no prisoners attitude he instills in his teammates.

Aside from perhaps Papalli, i dont think any other current prop holds a candle to him.
