Bats are big pollinators and vital in keeping crop destroying insect populations down. Just like all wild animals just let them be. You leave them alone and they help you. You kill and eat them and they will fark you up!
    Thanks for that.
It's good to learn something new every day.

For clarity, my understanding is that the most recent theory is that COVID-19 came from bats, was transferred to a snake and was then transferred to a human via a snake at a market (which a vendor was handling as it's transferred through skin to skin contact). That bat video is from Palau. Bat is not widely eaten in Wuhan and you can't buy it at the markets.

Similarly the monkey fukking story is unlikely. The most commonly accepted theory is that a bushmeat vendor had cuts on their hands while chopping up monkey meat.

It's frustrating that we don't eat snakes or monkeys but can still get these diseases. However, it's still bad luck. For example if kangaroo meat contained some crazy disease that we have no cure for, we'd be farked coz we sell it at the supermarket.

Regarding snakes... I ate a lot of eel in Japan (tastes great, it's just another type of fish as far as I'm concerned when somebody's rolling out a table full of quality seafood!) However, that industry is now struggling big time because nobody wants to eat eel (just incase it transmits COVID-19). Food's tasty/exotic until it contains a virus. One reason why I go vegetarian when I head to Vietnam (rather than eating river snails, insects, unparsturised dairy-based products and dodgy smelling meat that's been driven around all day on the back of a scooter... a lot of westerners will boast about eating 'street food'... my in-laws who live over there tell me that Vietnamese food in Cabramatta's of higher quality than the stuff on the streets of Saigon).

It's two words actually. 'Batman' and 'Na'!

You sure? I think Mickie's dunna dunna dunna dunna is instrumental.

People talk about league players being pound for pound the strongest or whatever, so small guys can compete with the big guys. Word for word is there a greater song than Batman? I mean is there?!

                          CORRECT. IT was a pangolin.

Is that the fairy pangolin we see in Australia, or the more commonly known black and white pangolin?

Glad we are getting to the source of this.

                                A pangolin.

Latest thinking seems to be turtles, but maybe still pangolins.

Gunna take a while for consensus, and we can never really be certain.
