  • Souffs problem

    Some behaviours never change.
Failure to stamp this out has been our contribution to the behaviour - no doubt.
There’s a saying in management of kill the giant before he becomes a big giant.

This visit is even more unbelievable when you consider how so few clubs eventually wanted Latrell; his form this year has not yet lived up to the hype and the coronia-mania fears with the direction to limit players exposure to the public.

Wayne Bennett went to great lengths to explain the decision to bench Latrell Mitchell in the 55th minute of his South Sydney debut.

I felt more anxious about certain players missing v Penrith than I'd probably ever admit in real life. But this has just confirmed my suspicions - he hasn't got the work ethic or mindset to be a professional athlete. Nothing wrong with it, its the most common reason out there why talent doesn't equal success, and sports psychologists will tell you that athletes are not "normal" in that they can't have a normal life.
He'll realise what could have been... but like most, when its too late. Wish him the best I guess, but ultimately its a good riddance from me. Likewise Robbo and Uncle Nick, a lot of us are too old and experienced for this sh*t.

As for the old tool from ancient times Bennett who can't grasp the basics of a 21st century society... an odious creature. This is the sort of flouting of the rules that will end the comp prematurely.

        Bennett.

“It’s a whole different position for him and I want him to get used to that and I want him to play without mistakes, which he did with the exception of one mistake”

well he didn’t do that because he made a mistake.

Ive said it heaps of times "good luck to Latrell".
He is a fantastic player & Im sure it will take him some time to settle in just like it took Cronk a while to settle in at the Roosters.

I don’t know Mickie. Cronk had a great attitude and work ethic. I don’t think Lats has either.

Yeah on reflexition Cronk is probably not a good comparison, he would be top of the tree when it comes to attitude & work ethic but Cooper did take more than 1 round to gel with his new ROOSTERS team mates.

I think whoever signs him has to give him the freedom to do this kind of shit. We did.

                He's worth the trouble.

How can he possibly rejoin the team after his trip back home to Taree , surely that's not self isolation. ,Perhaps that was his plan , to scared to face the Chooks

Anyone see Latrell's instagram story? He took shots at Cooper Cronk for questioning him going up to Taree on his day off.

Today the NRL drew a line in the sand.
Self isolation for all players. "They go from home to training then straight home again".
One 'rogue' player could do a lot of damage to the season etc.

Based on the NRL's new stance that players only travel between home and training, does this mean Latrine should sit out for 2 weeks? Just saying
