Haha - it would be my pleasure!

Apart from the birth of both my kids, the most special day of my life was being a part of the winning GF dressing room in 2002.
i still remember being at the top front of the double decker bus pulling into the Spring St entrance of the Easts Leagues Club and the thousands of cheering fans - absolutely priceless!!

I used to go into the dressing sheds after the games at the old Sports Ground when I was young but that's nothing compared to be being Rocky the Rooster on the top deck of the bus returning to Spring street after winning the Grand Final after 27 years.
I was in Spring street that night/morning & I clearly remember seeing Rocky the Rooster on the top deck at the front of the bus, you lucky bugger.
Just a question a lot of people said that Gus was the real coach in 2002 but from your inside knowledge who addressed the team was it Ricky or Gus?

Shed access after a winning performance is priceless and a memory your kids will never forget if you are lucky enough to get them in.

Took my oldest daughter to a trial in Wagga about 20 years ago when she was 8 , she's a massive. fan of Brad , after the game she wanted to go and get autographs of course and when she was walking back towards me she was crying , some young girls near me saw her and asked if she was ok , she told the she couldn't find Brad Filter only for them to tell her to go back and try again , but if you do find him to bring him right back to them, laughed my ass off

Got shed access after we beat the Dogs at the stadium back in 2008 (Jake Friend's debut game, we were missing a heap because of origin) Me and two of my mates paid to go corporate at a Friday night game and straight after the full time siren another mate (who's a policeman and knew the security guards) rang us and said his friend would get us in if we got over there straight away. So we downed our drinks and sprinted across the other side of the ground and got in just as they finished the team song.

We then went back to the Leagues Club and were in the auditorium area waiting for the after game presentation. The players were off to the side eating pizza and me being at least a dozen beers deep by this stage decided that I would work on the old theory that if you look like you should be somewhere and act confident enough, then others will believe that you are supposed to be there. So I wandered over and sat down next to Freddie and congratulated him on a great win. He was brilliant, didn't miss a beat, we talked for a few minutes about the game, he offered me some pizza and I was in. Security didn't even look at me! I had a feed with the guys, got a cap autographed, got Seitimata Sa's tie and then wandered back to my mates. They looked at me and said 'how the f$ck did you pull that off???' To finish a great night, we went back to the pub we were staying at in Bondi and I jagged $2k out of the pokies!!

Was this the game where O’Melley was captain and Sa got man of the match? A Friday night game? If so, this was my one and only time in the sheds after a game.

I had a shed pass for the 2010 GF. If we won I would have been in the sheds. Further disappointment after the loss.

Thats unreal JAF. What a legend. How did you get involved with that? I would love to be the ground announcer. I have no experience but I have a deep radio kind of voice and I think I could do it lol.

That's a great story JAF. I too was in Spring Street that night with my father. I will never forget it - wonderful memories. Hopefully there will be many more to come!
