In my humble opinion they name him at fullback and he drifts between there and centre, probably shifting back permanently later in the season. I've been thinking about it a bit and I think he has much potential at #6 than #1. Sad thing with him is that he was one of most skillful and powerful centres I have ever seen. What do you think mate?
