When he deserves praise, i will give it, when he ****s up i will bag him.

I will not make constant excuses, blame others and then claim to be knowledgable about football and cry blue murder when my fav player farks up.
Never siad he was my fav player????

One brain explosion and now he's overrated. Didnt' Joey Johns throw an intercept pass in the semi final? I'm sure everyone here remembers that.

      Joey = OVERRATED

The irony of people making these posts and calling Pearce and idiot is quite humorous tbh

I'm sure nobody considers him an idiot,in fact he is a good player that does his upmost of his ability,a very good player, but not brilliant,to me he appears to lack the magic, the tricky step, the little feint,be able to confuse the opposition on how he'll set the play up,these are the qualities, that he must develop.

You should watch the Sunday Roast, Gould summed it up perfectly.

Why isn't anyone up in arms that during that break, 4 or 5 cows managed to give chase yet not one of our players were even in the frame ?

Now THAT is really something to get fired up about. Not a bloke who actually supported his player, made the line break and created a try opportunity.

PS Gould summed it up perfectly on the Roast. The problem is our system, not the players.

see this is the problem, not pearce.

the problem is not pearce, if anything he is the LEAST of the roosters problems !!

Again people trying to find a induvidual as a scapegoat.

Our team has no urgency, perfect example is the scrums that were being set at the end of the game.

there was no urgency from anyone to get to the scrums, pack them and keep them set.

We need a killer instinct as a team, were we can put a game beyond doubt or come back and crush a side. This is for BOTH attack and defence.

RC and pearcesworstnightmare, seriously, snap out of it, RC especially you, you continue to talk out of your blowhole, i guess you need someone else to blame since sia is leaving......

So let me put this to all the baggers....you would have been happier if Pierce did NOT make the break? That would have kept you in your seat and not given you any hope of winning the game.

He may have (just may have I am saying) passed the ball as he might have thought he was going to be forced into touch.

So once again, we would prefer him NOT to make any breaks is that right?

Did you lot see the soft tries that they put on us? A simple dummy and bang - in. We should NEVER have been in the position we were in but it all came down to our SHIT defence. Pretty bloody simple really.

Pierce did not win us the game but he sure as hell did not lose it for us either.

no. i think people are just annoyed and wonder why he threw it back when it was the first tackle and cos it could of won us the game

                    and its pearce not pierce.

Well thanks for clarifying that. I had no idea why people were upset. Thanks for the spelling lesson too. Seems it is 2 zip your way

You've answered your own argument! A champion 1/2 would have WON us that game. I don't blame him for the loss, but a good 1/2 should be able to conjure up a win in clost situations.Pearce might be a terrific player, but he will NEVER achieve the status of a "game breaker" or a "match winner".

In case you missed it for the last 2 games we had scored as many tries as the opposition, yet lost BOTH games!!!!!!!

Would you be feeling better if we had won both of those games on the back of a couple of Soward penalties? I know I would, and I wouldn't give a **** if he dived for them or not. A win is a freakin win and the 2 points on the ladder will not have an asterik next to it .

To say a bloke that is 20 years old will NEVER be a match winner is a long bow to draw.
