I still can’t forget the game he played for GB against oz before he came over to the NRL.. I never knew him but he was smashing Tallis and Fletcher etc...Looked so effortlessly tough...
When we signed him I was ecstatic knowing we were going to have this beast in our team not realizing how important he would become!!
My fave player of that era roosters besides Freddie!

Moz is one of those few ex-players who is pretty much loved by all. Met him once and he was quiet but friendly.

Yeah, I would like to have, but I've never met him. I have a book about his career, signed by him. It was given to me one Christmas by a mate who works in the media. He organised through Mike Stephenson for Moz to address it to me and sign it, so he went to quite some effort to get it done and that was awesome in itself. But I have to admit, though I am a grown man, I felt like a little boy that day, such was the wonder of holding a book that had been in the hands of the great man! I still love watching his highlight reels. Though we've got JWH and Victor to inflict on opponents nowadays, add Morley to that mix and where would they run?!

I met Moz at a Roosters member/fan function down at Darling Harbour not that long after he joined us (from what I can recall). He was a fairly quiet and humble man, but quite friendly and engaging. A big contrast to the beast on the field.
