If Friend can keep up the form from the last four games last season, he will be the games no 1 hooker. However, I can't see him playing SOO for the simple reason that QLD don't drop players. Smith will only be replaced when he retires and Ballin is currently second in the pecking order.

In respect to Farah, obviously we don't need him and alos if it's true that he's causing these problems at the Tigpies, why would anyone sign him?

I think age is against Ballin. Smith is 6 months older than Ballin. I think Smith easily has four or five years left in him. What's the point of replacing Smith with a player 6 months his junior? I think Ballin will be a fill-in but nothing more. At least not a regular starting hooker. Friend is the man.

Dont just think Farah and Sheens is the only prob at the Tigers. Farah is not liked by his team mates. There is a main core of players (Marshall, Gibbs, Moltzen, Fulton, Ryan etc) at the Tigers that are very tight. Farah is not one of the group. They think he is a prima donna and only trains when he wants to. That is from a Tigers player.
A couple of years ago I thought Farah was a gun. I am not so sure now. I don't think he has been that good this year or last and was surprised he even got the call up. I would rather Jake.

From what a couple of mates that have worked with the Tigers have told me that 'core group of players' that you speak of are absolute egotistical arseholes (excluding Ryan who is apparentely a genuinely nice guy). Farah is not in that group because he is not a total tossbag believe it or not. I can also add that he is a lot more serious about his training than most of those blokes too (well in season at least cos that's when they were working with the players).

In no way am I saying that we should even consider looking at him, it's just that the thought of dumping a bloke cos the douchebags in the team don't get along with him seems a bit ridiculous and sad for the future of that club.
