      Just like Jake Friend?

As he once said, "why would I trade the Sydney harbour for the Brisbane river?"

Not all players are homesick little puppies.

Who cares Jonathon Thurston played for NSW under 19s.
Child prodigies more often then not are remembered for being just that....
Kayln Ponga being the most recent who has lived up to the hype

            JT too small
cronk , first season or 2 in first grade was a winger
            billy Slater jockey
Brad fitter always been a legend
braith anasta the next brad fittler , on this list that's about it

Quite possibly, just like Joe Ofehengau, Javid Bowen, Antonio Winterstein, Ben Hannant & Justine Hodges.

FWIW I used to think Braith Anasta's name was 'Nathan Aster'. Heard it on the radio and was like 'WTF is this Nathan Aster guy? Never heard of him...'

Honestly I thought we'd picked up that fine middle order New Zealand Batsman Nathan Astle.

Many excellent Queenslanders have played for Sydney based teams. Some Queenslanders are smart enough to know that NSW is God’s Country. If Walker wanted to be in Queensland he’d be there.

Billy Slater, Jake Friend, Cooper Cronk, Daly Cherry Evans, Cameron Smith, Cameron Munster, Josh Papalii.

I'd say most top tier talent doesn't seemed to be swayed that easily...
