True, soward will most likely start to fall apart with Bennett not there to hold his hand. Maloney will come right into calculations for SOO if he continues on his good form from last year. Also Jarrod Mullen could figure with Bennett now there to hold his hand.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

      Here's looking at you, kid.

This also means no Quade Cooper with team Mundane.

Not necessarily. Cooper could be in line for Minichello's jersey...

No place in the halves for him. Lock? 2nd Row? I think we all saw enough of that experiment.
That means he either leaves, on another offer from a rival club (seriously doubt that at this stage of his career it will be a good one), or he is pushed out.
Won't that be another bun fight! :/
I can already visualize him him packing down into the second row alongside Sonny Bill, a terrible apparition I must say but I feel sure I read that Anasta would be used in the back row.

I'm no Mack and don't like to read into stats too much but an interesting stat on Maloney.

Line Breaks - Equal 6th in the comp on 16 (equal with Benji and Widdop, the only 3 halves in the top 10)

Awesome! I think thats what we need in the halves...pearce has an awesome passing game, to compliment that a good ball running 5-8 would be sweet!! 2013 is looking good!!! I dont expect malonely to win games for us, but I think with him and pearce we can finally have a solid halves pairing that will finally work together to win games!!!

If Todd Carney Isn't chosen next year to represent NSW for state of origin, we deserve to languish In the depths of despair and stupidity for the foreseeable future, under the reign of the Queensland reds.

The problem is you don't know what Carney you are going to get in 2012, the brilliant 2010 or the sh!thouse 2011 version?
Also Ricky Stuart this year has made it pretty clear that he wants players that will fit into his side that will have good attitude and ensure good team morale, which is why Jamal Idris was not picked after representing the kangaroos only 2 weeks prior to Stuart picking his 1st SOO side. Cause of that i believe Carney would struggle to make it now after what happened this year.

I seriously cannot think of a better overall 5/8 that we could have got, MAYBE Foran but that is it for me.

What about T. Carney, who is better than both of them put together?

As stated by the Oracle, you don't know what you are going to get with TC. Brilliance or crap :/

Only when he is not on the drink - which is an issue as he can't seem to stay off it for too long. I believe 2010 was a one off commitment from him to get his career back on track after deregistration and won't be repeated until he is deregistered again, if ever.

You mean Todd Carney, the guy that can't defend?
Todd Carney, the guy who single handedly ruined ruined our 2011 season with his continuous bad behavior and useless attitude?
I love(d) the guy, he almost won us the comp in 2010, but that time is over, he proved he can't keep up more than 1 year of brilliance, he had it all and threw it all away, not the sort of player I would want in my team.
                                Maloney>>>>Carney, it isn't 2010 anymore.
