Well we're not short of options in the halves now. I hope the competition pushes all 4 of them, because at their best I believe ANY of them can make the starting side.
So Maloney's just had a good season... so what? Mortimer did in 2009 and look where he is. I reckon both will have to dig deep and find that form that got them to a GF if they want to make the team.
The down side? Despite our depth in the forwards, Anasta will surely be playing in the forwards. I'd prefer some big islander doing the heavy lifting, but I guess a ball playing forward is good. Him, another ball playing forward and 2 quality halves... hopefully not too many cooks in the kitchen arguing over which dish to serve up.
