A I also want to see a centre pairing of Maubs & Williamson... Couldn't think of anywhere else for Jones. But I want him in the 17..

Maybe 5/8, but i'd like to see Symonds have a go there as well.
Ive floated Jones at 9 mate, but currently with Bwaiff Id move him to 5/8.

I reckon hes a great 1 on 1 defender, great offload, would be good to see him touch the ball more.

I guess it proves it takes time mate.

Look at tonight we had 8 u 21s out there and a 24yr old on debut.

We also had at least 7 expierenced 1st graders out.

All night I heard how the cowplods had 4 blokes out.

We were on a hiding to nothing in reality.

In the end it wasn't all that bad of a display... Take out those 2 really bad defensive errors on the line & we played pretty well.

Im as filthy as anyone mate but with what we had to work with we had a go at least.

Losing Bwaiff was the final straw, no changes left, we were always gonna struggle.

Theres been some improvement at least.

And id rather be losing close like that with a very young inexpierenced side than getting wacked with another 4-5 internationals in the team.

Look what the Boggs showed, some SMART recruitment and a new coaching staff and it can be reversed very quickly.

Mate that's why I love watching Canberra play.. Even if they are losing they never give up & give it a go.. That's what I want.

The coaching situation needs to be worked out & soon. These blokes need a leader, not a mate.

Good post all round TBF. I also enjoy watching the Raiders of today for their usually wholehearted performances. As for coach, Freddy really should have served some kind of apprenticeship before being given the job. This would have served three purposes; the gaining of experience, the gaining of age/wisdom, the separation from players with whom he once played.

Freddy needs 6 months away from the game & then come back & work with the TC for a while. The young blokes would love to work with such a legend & then he gets to stamp some authority on this new breed.
