IMAGINE what would happen if JWH and co started attacking the heads of Souths players on the ground and in gang tackles...and nearly taking their heads off in high tackles.
The penalties would be 3-26 against us instead of 3-9 like happened to another team, whose coach later complained about the 3-9.
JWH gets as good as he gets and although sometimes targeted by the refs, treads a very fine line. You gonna win some and you gonna lose some. I would rather he has a go than not and then get dominated. Hes an intimidater Thats his job.

When our boys start to cop it, he steps it up. If he goes, he goes but we need that mongrel in him.

Exactly. JWH certainly lets those elbows get a touch high on his carries sometimes.....and i love it !!! Makes the defenders think twice i would imagine

I stand corrected, BB, fourth time lucky!
              MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

And I tried so very carefully to get he first one correct.

I triple checked the thread title.
Triple checked what I wrote as the theme of the thread for any possible slander, racism, pornography ( the things against the rules ), inappropiate words, ...and it still rejected!
So I cancelled it and tried again, thinking that it could've been the title of the thread or because players' names were used. So I modified the content and the title.
                ...and tried again.
                Rejected again!
I gave up...and returned to the front page of the forum, only to see them all there.

All confirmed in the 2014 game before the GF
burgess whacks SBW across his face with a swinging arm. Not only do the officials decide to igmore it, it was only a lone obscure journo mentioned it once and it was never spoken of against.
The dirty prick should never have played in the 2014 GF

2013 grand final, have a look at that.

                    Buzz today;

Referees boss Bernard Sutton has had to get a job at Woolworths at Seven Hills while the NRL competition has been in lockdown. He works from 7pm to midnight unloading trucks. Sutton has a big family to look after – his wife and four children aged 9, 7, 4 and 1.

“It’s been a good dose of reality to see how other people work on a day-to-day basis,” he said, “And it’s been good working around people who love their footy".

                    #####

                    Lovely.
Hopefully this dose of reality will extend to better training of referees...and the elimination of attacks on the heads and faces of Roosters players.

                      Assume he gets penalty rates?

Like I have said to you before the Roosters give as good as they get. You dont get to be B2B Premiers playing the game softly & within the rules. To be B2B Premiers you have to be the hardest, dirtiest & most aggressive team in the comp just the way I love my Roosters to be.

5 hour shift, maybe no penalty rates.
                          No break either?

Between trucks, if he sees any boxes labelled "chicken necks" that might remind him that the necks of Roosters players are above the shoulder. Illegal to tackle.
There seems to be a great attraction to Cordner's neck. .

I read an article with a warriors player I think , that referred to the roosters as a team of bullies , that next to Melbourne we are the team that pushes the wrestle the most as well , these are opposition players saying this. as mickie says we are not angels.
