            Terrible news.
A true Roosters and RL legend.
I am glad I got to hear him speak at Glenn's function, but wish I could hear him again.
            He will be missed.

Sad news indeed. Artie will be missed greatly. He will now parnter Ray Steyr in the front row in the great Roosters team in the sky. He will have two decent centres to offload to......Dave Brown and Dally Messenger.

A sad day in Roosters history.

He would've killed it in any era. RIP Artie, whenever I saw him it reminded me of our club's greatest era. Massive loss.

Very sad news indeed. It was Rooster legends such as Beetson and Fairfax etc that brought me to Easts. Shook his hand the evening we won our 2002 GF, that was one of my league highlights.

I guess we will be playing for the Beetson shield against the Tigers next yr.

R.I.P Big Artie, gone but definitely not forgotten. He will long live in our memories....
