It's more a sign of the times IMO. I got a test for the same reason the other day and took a couple of days off work (working from home anyway but still).

Came back negative within 2 days. IMO it's a bit like an STD test before entering into a new relationship. You can't say you've got no STDs just because the only person you slept with during the last decade was your ex-wife. Only a test will prove that.

Now is the time to weed out any current cases though, much preferable than part way through restart of the comp.

Could mean that some end up In isolation for 14-21 days before clearance to resume.

What we don't want is a number of players testing positive from one club, however.

Bennett drives to Robbo's place and gets a lift to the meetings. Just putting the virus restrictions aside...this is really is one of Robbo's strengths. Love him or hate him Bennett has won 7 premierships, has all the rep team achievements & coached over 800 NRL games. It would be easy for Robbo to say bugger him-hes a Rabbitoh and Uncle Nick wont deal with him-let him catch a taxi in....but Robbo respects Bennett & will take in everything that Bennett has to offer.

At 43 years of age he is smart enough to know that there is still a lot he can learn about coaching and player management. Anyone else at his age who has achieved so much would be thinking & acting like they know it all- he is way too intelligent to think that way.
