it just depends on what you like I guess.
Same, but I pay $54 a month for the general Foxtel Channels with sport in HD, Kayo is $25 a month for just the sport channels, but I wouldn’t want to just rely on a streaming service for live sport when the internet can be so up and down.

I took the $5 two month NRL members' deal with Kayo in mid March. I will have to look at continuing it in the next week or two. I will keep it for the upcoming NRL season. Live streaming works well for me, as I have been watching some of the classic matches, Sky News, etc, and I haven't had to get a dish bolted onto my roof. Live streaming is the way of the future. I am hoping that, given the current circumstances, I will be able to get a better deal than $25 per month. I am on the NBN with Telstra, so will be exploring that as a possibility. The quality of the streaming has been excellent so far, with only two or three occasions where I experienced buffering for short periods.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Isn't it more like $1 Billion dollars paid for the TV rights.
          Thats about $700K too much

The game has been running on a false economy for far too long. There is just not the market for the game to support this any more

any money you pay to whoever equates to a % to the NRL

From those who VPN for free streams to subscribers paying premiums there's heaps of choices

I'm with you Brain. I don't pay anything either and there is a lot of choice. It's wasted on me anyway..last Friday night I fell asleep at 7.48pm... Imagine if there had been a game to watch..LOL..I just watch our games in full the next day on NRL.com through my Telstra account. There is also the option of highlights or extended hightlights if people are time poor and don't want to watch the entire game. I don't pay for any tv as I like iview and SBS on Demand and YouTube. 9Now has some classic shows like Miami Vice too.

I was keen on getting Kayo when I moved to a building that doesn't have Foxtel. Then I found out it didn't work on my smart TV without dongles and laptop stuff, which I really don't want to deal with every time I want to watch tv. Would love a simple, good digital sports streamer that we can enjoy without all the hoops!
