Having to play last year's other top 4 sides twice whilst others get to play the teams battling for the spoon is totally unreasonable.

To win NRL premierships one has to get points and keep moving up the ladder.
Good for and against also helps greatly.
Roosters played Raiders in 2019 GF.

yeah, no doubt it's unreasonable and unfair (although it might mean we can knock other teams off and get into the top 4). but it's a unique year and if they go with that then so be it (that's what i'm telling myself).

because it's a unique year you might get a team from outside the top 4 giving it a shake. us in particular, if we finish 5-8, will be a team that everyone will be worried about - play a weak team first round of the finals, play a battered loser, second week of the finals building up momentum etc.

The Titans are an absolute bore. And they're not alone.

I personally absolutely love the week leading up to a game vs the Rabbits, Broncos or Dragons.

Is this not what we love the Roosters for? The chills down the back of the neck when we play these scumbag rival teams?

Besides, Souffs and Saints are tracking along to be shit in 2020 so maybe it's not such a tough draw afterall.

So I for one think it's great that we get to rail Latrine twice and watch him have a sook on field as JWH shoves his fat head into the grass.

I had a rule at the start of the season that I would not watch Titans, Dogs or Warriors until they earn the right by winning five games. I will relax it on Warriors because of how they have behaved. Titans and Dogs don't deserve anyone to watch them play.

That would be peaking in the first match, then staying peaked for the rest of the season.
We tried something else, it didn't work out.

Having said that, I do think Parra will be a threat this season. If we cannot win it, it could end up being a dark horse like a Parra, Knights or someone else, or even the Warriors. Imagine that! I am pretty sure that we are safe from the Dogs, Dragons and Titans.
