True, tho the boys have to step it up now, these are going to be tough and losing the first two games dont help.

Agree with 1908. If the team manages to win the 2020 premiership, this draw *should* shut the "asteriskers" right up. Robbo will frame this for the team as the exciting challenge it presents, therefore I'm pleased the Roosters have been handed a tough path.

if these games are played at the end, you never know how the teams will be faring.

it's not fair, but what can you do about it - bring it on.

It’s not just the teams we have to play. It’s the short turnarounds as well. I counted 7 short turnarounds, many of which include travel.
We have the toughest draw of all the teams.

Meh, 3 good teams (Raiders, Storm & Broncos) and 2 shit teams (Dragons, Souffs).

I'd much rather play them twice than boring teams like the Dogs, Titans or Sharks.

Playing the tougher teams will keep us in top mental shape for the 3peat. We don’t need a false sense of confidence playing the dogs, warriors and titans

No excuses. No asterix. We can do it.

How do they determine this? We'll beat them all anyways, but how does any fair model come up with us playing the rest of last years top 4 twice? Throw in the referee darling broncos.

Obviously it’s in everyone’s best interests for the best teams to be playing each other as much as possible this season so naturally we’re going to get a tough draw. Bring it on though. I agree with Tommy Smith. Rather be watching blockbusters every week than cakewalks against the titans.

When we win all those games we will win the comp.

I admire you guys notion of fair odds and I doff my cap to your utmost confidence in our team but this is a dead set rort of a draw.
Along with the new rules and one ref v'landy is stamping his authority on the game and is hellbent on handicapping the two most dominant teams of the last decade by minimising the effectiveness of defence which has been the cornerstone of both teams success and by giving them the hardest draw of the 5 extra games.
Everything points to favouritism towards having a new premier for this season.
We get beat on the park fair and square I have no complaints but when it's an unlevel playing field to begin with i think it's an injustice.

It's got an air of inevitability about it this season. After the slow start, then the break we were always going to have to play catch ups. Then we start to hear about ridiculous rule changes for no apparent reason and then bam! The draw gets released and we get shafted again! I hope V'Landy's at least gave us a kiss on the cheek whilst he was doing his business!

The way the Roosters are we are better off playing the better teams. I am much more concerned with scheduling and the length of time between games than the draw. We have a massive question mark over our #7 but apart from that I still see as the best team.
