They have made too many changes at once that will affect ruck speed to the point that defences will be neutered

Teams based on speed will be massively advantaged - and all because rugba ligg now “listens to the people”

I’m not convinced the rucks will be a whole lot faster necessarily. With only one ref it could actually get slower. The 10 will get shorter, some teams will probably back themselves to wrestle away and concede the 6 again and defend it anyway. A lot will depend on whether refs have the balls to continually enforce the 6 again or whether they only enforce it a few times then give up.

It really is a massive rule change to bring in mid season and untrialled.

Yeah it's a bit of a lottery and not sure if game will speed up or slow down.

The refs will need to send players to the bin if teams repeatedly give away the 6 again esp defending their line early in the count to reset their defense...
