3 very important things

#1 - The defensive structure/line is the worst in the NRL. This is the sole reason we are losing games like tonight. Defend properly and the pressure is not on to play catch up football. There are no excuses for the defense that the Roosters are playing, only reasons. Simply it so consistently so poor that it has to be the "brainchild" of the coaching staff.

#2 - 8 players under 21. We are in for some pain for a while. It stems from poor recruitment but if a few of these kids can get some consistency then eventually they good be good long term Roosters

#3 - The Roosters attack has improved markedly over the last few weeks, they have put on some great tries, several not even from kicks

ur 100% right. it all comes down to attitude. the coach goes a long way in shaping these kids attitude, and when he is bloody enjoying himself getting pissed before game day, can you really blame them??????

the are unfit and unmotivated.

we have these critical lapses that last for 20 minutes in which we either give away our lead or in which teams extend theres. this is the period in which we loose the game. not from one bad pass at the end, or one dropped ball. it comes down to fitness and attitude.

look at the last few weeks, against manly and tigers, the last 15 minutes before half time, we had one of these lapses n they both scored 18 points on us. tonight in the 12-30 minute mark was the same. and before this this 'lapse' occured in our second half.

we need to fix this to start winning games.

i love freddy, but for the good of the club he needs to go. it has been the same problem week in week out and it is the coaches job to fix it. he has had a season and a half to do it and he hasnt done it.
