With no reserve grade being played, it makes sense for us
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

      yep, win/win.
don't know what it means for his long term future. is he happy in oz or does he want to return to nz some day? he's signed with us until '22 but if the warriors want to keep him who knows.

If he does an ACL, that might be $100-150k that comes out of our cap.

          Doesn't make sense to me.
SST is injury 'suspect' already, we lose him first game, and who knows how many others under these new rules, we're going to need him.
Don't we have some telegraph poles he can tackle to get battle-hardened?

We are on zero, zilch, nothing points, as are the Warriors.
So we're going to lend the Warriors one of our best young and big forwards so they can win games.
          A very bad idea.

I note he's been named in our 21 man squad.

He, SST, Collins, and Butcher the 4 big forwards.

He might get four games at NRL level that he wouldn’t have got any other time, let alone reserve grade.

no doubt him playing for them is a risk. but if it was last year he would have been playing for the bears and could have got injured. this year it's a gamble and if he gets a bad injury, the gamble didn't play off, but if he gets some game time under his belt and doesn't get injured then that's better for us than if he'd just trained for the 4 weeks.

Does anyone know if we get an injury that leads to us wanting him back before the 4 weeks can we call him back?

doubt it. that's also a gamble.

He purchased a house here and his family moved over here to live, he is very happy here and loves the club, the polynesian boys are very close, SST and Lui are like father figures

Shame the Bears aren’t around because they are better than the Warriors. His game will deteriorate under “Supercoach” Stephen Kearney. He will come back to us not even a reserve grader. He will never take his position at the Roosters for granted.

Good idea and well done to the club for participating in this... Lets be honest he wasn't going to get alot of onfield time in the First grade squad anyway barring injuries.

4 weeks sounds like a good deal - experience for farmer but still comes back to us soon to cover injuries

Just enough time to sew a crop, and pray for rain.

When you pray for rain you have to deal with the mud too.
Denzel Washington The equalizer. Hopefully in this case there is no mud (serious injury).
