  • Very impressive . The forced rest may be a blessing in disguise, we looked fresh .

    • Thought Jake was excellent last night. Defence usual mountain of hard tackles and looked dangerous in attack as well - didn’t over play his hand but played it enough to keep them guessing.

when he went off with that injury I really thought we looked like we lost our way and got it back when he came back on.

Nothing can take away the 2 premierships he won as a Rooster or what he did for the club on the field. Plenty here are pissed off that he left - and i get it . When RTS left i thought how the hell can we ever replace someone of his talent.....well we did! What Robbo said is 100% true "Once a Rooster,Always a Rooster"

There isn’t the same anger as when that prancing ponce Wing left. Latrell is hanging around with some human detritus, who got him to leave the Roosters.

        • Souffs were given the win and we still beat them convincingly.

To me that's when we're at our best. There was no anger or animosity. We just got on with the job of methodically tearing apart their defence.

Maybe I'm wrong, but whether it be on the field or in the sheds, Latrell looks to me like a man that regrets his decisions and misses his home.

Collins was insane last night. I loved Tetevano but gee Collins bends that D line more than Tetevano ever did. If his lateral defense holds up he offers immense value off the bench

                • Jake is brilliant for us every week. Does things a novice supporter wouldn’t notice. Yes he made a break and scored a good try so suddenly some are jumping on his bandwagon. Some of you only see the obvious good things.

Do you still hold your breath when he takes the ball to the line? I still do BUT hopefully he has worked hard to ‘get a grip!’ But yes I liked Tetevanos little goose step as he was hitting the line.

                          • Yes, Teddy, Cordner, Tupou, Bmoz were excellent but there were other performances which could mark a turning point in their career or a resurgence - Collins, Radley, Crichton. Reasons to be hopeful.

                            • I wasn't 100% sold on Flanagan Jr but after last night I am. He looks like he has time to do what he needs to do. I would bet he's been in talks with Grand Master Sensei Cronk.

                              • Does anyone else (besides PRIDE) think that Keary did not play well last night? I thought he had an SKD-esque game in terms of the good and bad he dished up. Fortunately the rest of the team played very well.

One other thing I can't get my head around is how little time on the park Verrills and Sitili received.
